12-1 pm Eastern ----------The University of Pennsylvania's One Health in Action faculty and Environmental Innovations Initiative has launched a One Health in Action seminar series featuring national and internationally renown scholars who work across sectors, domains and disciplines to enhance human, animal, plant and environmental health. In honor of 2024 One Health Day, we are hosting the maverick Dr. Sherri Russell, Missouri's Wildlife Veterinarian and Section Chief of Conservation Health.

Without a balance of living organisms, none of our ecosystems could thrive. Biosecurity is a holistic term that includes policies and regulations to protect humans, food, agriculture, and the environment from potential biological threats. This year the celebration on One Health will focus on biosecurity to preserve Biodiversity and a sustainable future.
