One Health Day Conference 2020

This is the third annual Jamaica Veterinary Medical Association/Caribbean College of Family Physicians -Jamaica Chapter conference, held in celebration of One Health Day. In 2020, using the Zoom Webinar platform in two sessions, we are bringing together an array of international and local speakers to explore Planetary Health, sustainability in Agriculture, the importance of protecting biodiversity in Session 1 (Oct 31, 5 - 8 PM EST) and pandemics, panzootics with focus on Covid-19 and African Swine Fever in Session 2 (Nov 1, 2 - 5:30 PM EST).

3rd Annual WesternU One Health Day Panel

Western University of Health Sciences One Health initiative, led by Dr Tkalcic, and supported by College of Veterinary Medicine and Dr. Devendra Agrawal, senior vice-president for Research and Biotechnology, is organizing the 3rd Annual WesternU One Health Day Panel. The topic this year: "In the world of Pandemic" will be presented by a panel of expert speakers this year through a 1-hr Zoom meeting on November 2, Monday 4-5PM. Here is the agenda: Dr. Agrawal-opening remarks 1. Dr. Tracy McNamara: “ Why do we need One Health? If COVID-19 does not convince you, what will?”

This is Delaware Valley University's second annual One Health Week celebration. It is filled with a variety of student activities and webinars that are open to students and the public alike.
