Understanding connections between humans, animals, and the environment are key to preventing and effectively stopping infectious disease outbreaks. Within this broad discipline, presenters will discuss the role of environmental factors such as climate change, changing land use and the loss of biodiversity and the role of migration of humans and animals in facilitating the emergence and spread of infectious diseases.
