Round 1: Training Workshop on Implementation of One Health Concept - Sudan

Ministry of Health in corroboration with Ministry of Animal Resources and Higher Council of Environment and Natural Resources conduct the training workshop on implementation of One Health Concept among health,animal resources and environment sectors in states. Goals of the Event: 1) To build the capacities of One Health focal points at sub-national level in health threats related to One Health (zoonotic diseases , food security, AMR) 2) To establish sub national platforms for One Health focusing on mechanisms of coordination Round 1 targeted 42 participants from 9 states including directors of epidemiology and Health Emergencies, One Health focal points and Environment focal points. A training package was developed to address One Health and coordination. The workshop was sponsored by WHO.
