6th Annual One Health Day in Serbia

One Health Day in Serbia is an annual event, since 2018, that is always held around November 3rd. This event is organized by the Serbian Association for One Health together with other institutions, depending on the location where it is held, because every year it is on different location. The purpose of the event it to expand the knowledge of experts and scientist in the field of One Health approach. The audience of the event are clinicians and practitioners from veterinary and human medicine, but also others involved in health issues such as biologists, entomologists, ecologists and from other disciplines occasionally. The event is totally inclusive, we invite experts, professors, students. The topics are partly in general about One Health (approach, organizations, history), and partly about practical examples of what One Health is in Serbia, how people can connect, how One Health approach can be used, which institution share One Health concept or approach, etc. Sometimes the speakers are international (mostly online in English language), but the majority of the speakers are from Serbia (always at least from the domain of human medicine, veterinary medicine and biology) and in person. In most of the cases it was an in person event (in 2020 and 2021it was online) and in Serbian language.
